Severe lack of posts; sorry, this are just all over the place. I may switch to a tumblr since I’m writing fewer long form posts.

The way the guitar and bass play off each other is really simple and striking. I found this song later in life, and it still conjures up a blanket of warm nostalgia.

There are bits of this trailer I like, and I’d like to see the film out of curiosity anyway—but it does seem like they may be trying to cram way too much of Kenshin’s story into this movie based on how many characters show up and the different elements of his life story. I suppose if anything this movie is made for the fans; but if so, cobbling different arcs together might be a fun romp down memory lane but not necessarily make good film. At the very least I think the film looks slick and doesn’t look like cosplay.
