It did' nt occur to me that the whole movie could actually be about cinema but I was quite convinced that the whole movie was a dream because when Cobb talked about the world he created with his wife, he said that they created a word in a word so that they could experience time faster thus living longer there. Then he mentioned that his wife was trapped there and that he had to pull her out. So I think he pulled her but just to the previous level where he him self became then trapped. I'll definitely watch it again. Finally watched the film yesterday and I really liked it.

Unfortunately I don't trust Japan enough to not cast singers and pretty idols as all the main characters. Gundam has its mellow drama....but after casshern robot hunter, and the western attempts to make a live action evangelion...i can't say I'd be hopeful for an adaptation that is respectful of the original spirit, or one that warrants it the full run time of a movie. now...if edgar wright wants to do it....
